On the evening of Tuesday, 28 July 2026, PandaCamera hosted a compact and practical Hasselblad × Capture One hands-on workshop at our Kwun Tong showroom.
Why This Workshop Mattered: Capture One Now Supports Hasselblad
The workshop followed an important announcement recently: Hasselblad and Capture One confirmed that Capture One would provide official native RAW support for Hasselblad medium format cameras — a first for the two brands. For companies that have long developed independently, this collaboration is a meaningful step forward, and it opens up new post-production possibilities for Hasselblad users.
Workshop Highlights
Led by professional tutors, the session focused on real-world applications and covered the following areas:
- Capture One workflow for Hasselblad RAW files (.3FR): A practical walkthrough for the three 100-megapixel models currently supported — the X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and CFV 100C.
- Colour management: Using dedicated colour profiles to preserve Hasselblad’s distinctive tonal character and layering, and building an efficient personal workflow.
- Phocus Mobile 2 demonstration: Showing how mobile and desktop devices can work together for wireless image transfer.

Hands-on try-out area: A selection of Hasselblad camera bodies and lenses was available for participants to test on-site.
Current Support and What’s Next
At present, Capture One’s official native support for Hasselblad covers the X2D II 100C, X2D 100C, and CFV 100C. Tethered Capture is expected to roll out in late 2026 or early 2027, so there is more to look forward to in the Hasselblad post-production ecosystem.
